Circus Oz Living Archive
Assoc Prof Laurene Vaughan, Dr Reuben Stanton, Dr Jeremy Yuille
The Living Archive is designed to extend the trademark identity of Circus Oz in the form of an online archive that utilised the affordances of networked digital technology, as a means to perform outside of the limitations of time, space and location.
Circus Oz is an internationally recognised innovator in contemporary circus. Their unique performance aesthetic encourages a sense of shared community and carnivalesque participation.
The archive was designed as an online digital platform that would enable Circus Oz to utilise their performance archive to engage their internal and external stakeholders and re-imagine audience participation.
The project was shortlisted for the 2014 Premiers Design Awards.
