April Krause

April’s work is centred in participatory design, research-led experimental graphic and spatial design, architecture and urban design and cultural geographical theory.

She has professional local and international experience as a graphic designer and architect, as well as working as a lecturer and researcher.

April’s main research interest focusses on the phenomenological aspects of the natural world and how these processes, systems and ecological events shape and inform us as beings, affecting and creating a sense of place within the current built environment and society.
