Jael Rincon is a communication designer. She works locally and internationally as a design consultant with public, private and third sector.
Jael is studying a PhD in the School of Media and Communication at RMIT University. She is interested in cultural studies and design history in Latin America and the Caribbean.
She completed her BA in Graphic Design in Colombia and studied a MA in Communications in Australia. She serves as the Chair of Graduate Students Committee at the International Association for Literary Journalism Studies.
As a PhD candidate, she is conducting multimodal discourse analysis on Crónica magazine in Latin America.
